In the summer of 2021, my college friends Lena, Regan, and I rented a cabin in the woods of Wisconsin for 5 days. While we were there, we wrote and recorded a 6 track EP. It was such a fun trip.
We didn’t end up finishing the mix and master for 2 years, but it’s finally out in the world! I had so much fun making these songs. I love how the three of us bring together our musical perspectives to make something that sounds like all of us and none of us at the same time.
I built a real time vocoder performance system on a team with Kenny Carlsen, Alex Miller, and Lena Sutter for my Major Design Experience senior project.
