My mom and I made these pants together when I visited recently! Each leg is very wide so they are loose and flowy which is fun for dancing in. We had to adjust the pattern a bit to make the crotch seam fit correctly, which was a fun challenge.

Niko’s Baby Blanket
My friend Regan had a baby! I made her a baby blanket with this gigantic yarn I found, it required the largest knitting needles I’ve used before. Niko likes grabbing the thick yarn and threading his arms through the loops!
Ella’s Baby Blanket
My cousin Juli had a baby! I knitted a baby blanket for her, my first time making a blanket. I experimented with alternating knit and purl stitches in chunks to make a checkerboard pattern. It ended up not being very square, because my stitches got tighter at the end when I was worried about running out of yarn. Regardless, it is soft and cuddly which is what matters for a baby blanket. It was so fun knitting with gigantic yarn.
Knitted Leg Warmers
I’ve spent the last few weeks learning how to knit, and just finished my first project! I love leg warmers for going to the gym, wearing before and after dances, and keeping cozy around the house. These have a spiral pattern and turned out so cute!
Flowery Dress
I had a lot of fun making this flowery dress! I made the pattern by tracing an existing knit dress I love and adjusting it. The scoop back with straps is my own design, and I also made the skirt longer and fuller than the reference dress.
This weekend I made myself a custom chalk bag! I created the pattern based on ideas from many different DIY chalk bag tutorials online. My bag includes a pocket, 2 loops for hanging, and elastic bands for attaching a brush.
